Soul Sounds
Music - the explosion of all your senses but one.
I love music. Always have, always will. My mother wrote little bits about each of us in our baby photo albums. It was things about what we responded to from a very young age. For me, it was 2 things in particular- animals and music. Did not make a fuss about people that much :-)
I had a black kitten since birth. When I started to crawl, I was off like a rocket. If my mother wanted to know where I was, she would call the cat. His name was "oortjies" (translated- little ears").
My love for music- the only toys I loved playing with was anything that made music.
Music- with or without words, comes from deep within the creator. It is not necessarily something the ears hear as much as what the soul feels. Beethoven, deaf by the age of 30 composed some of his greatest works after he became deaf. I for one am grateful that he did not give up when he lost what all would have considered his greatest attribute for success, but overcome this challenge by delving deep into his soul and pulling out violins, tjello's, simbals, horns ,trombones, flutes, piano etc
So it can be found in the sadness of Beethoven's Moonlight sonata for social prejudice.
Seeing the musicians, hearing the words or instruments. Feeling the music. Goose bumps!
