The loss in being Googled
The loss in being Googled
Writers block hits in when you meet new people and hear the words: I have Googled you.
Do people realise, we are so much more than our Google profile. Why feel the need to Google someone instead of spending time with them and get to know their heart and soul.
Best thing ever in the last few months- the ability to be forgotten by Google!
Or, persona identity to write under?
To be able to share, from our hearts, without any wrappings, we need to be able to "be" with people. "Be" without a pre-conceptual identity. As people we evolve, grow, learn.
This cannot be Googled, but only experienced.
Google, will not tell you that I mountain hike in flip flops or drink milk out of the carton or hold my breath underwater to hear complete silence, peacefulness or that I tap my foot in the supermarket if the music is good or that I love to dance in the summer rain, I watch the stars at night to remind of how insignificant my own life really is and I silently cry for your hurts I cannot change.
So go on and Google- you are missing the best bits!
