A Single blokes basket contains alcohol and very little food, single girls buy lots of salad, married men buy alcohol, but less than bachelors, married women always have a bottle! Get the picture- single women are sober without men, but men always drink ;-)

The beauty in a broken heart

Image
www.janewrightphotography.com Wednesdays, J and I have a day out- we do lunch and talk. Life seems so busy that we seldom have quality time together at home. He is growing up so fast and I love the precious time we have together. Today, I met Jane Wright Photographer. The work you see on her website does her gentle soul no justice! This poem she wrote gives a glipms of who she is, but her eyes are the windows to her soul. The understanding of complete and utter loneliness, dispare and yet seeking to be found. Get down to 5 Drury Lane, Lincoln before 22Jult 12. You will not regret it!

Open heart surgery

Open heart surgery Open Heart Surgery 3 years ago I had open heart surgery. I did not know there was anything wrong with my heart. I did not have high cholesterol or stress. As a matter of fact, I was rather happy, content and generally enjoying life. One afternoon a heart surgeon walked into my office and told me to look after my heart. I asked: Why is there a problem? In April 2009, I had a full blown heart attack. I spent the whole summer being tired, out of breathe, down and weak. I went on holidays, relaxed more, ate better, drank less but there was no change. Red Shoes

Red shoes Red shoes Dorothy o Dorothy with the red shoes. Somehow Toto I don't think we are in Kansas anymore! Lost! One of the greatest movies of our time was but a failure when it was first showed. A great example of not sucseeding the first time round. As time went by, it became one of the most iconic movies of all time. What I love about the movie, is the journey it reperesents. A journey of personal growth, a journey of confronting fear, a journey of friendship, a journey of love, a journey of self respect, a journey of acceptance and a journey of stereotyping and even a journey of betrayal. The innocent Dorothy but trust all she meets to have good intensions and be pure and untainted like herself. Boy,O, Boy. Nothing has changed since 1938 then. Throughout her whole journey, she does what she does best- she is JUST DOROTHY. She cares, she loves, she encourages and she respects without even realising she is doing it. It is so pure and so beautiful and so lacking in our...
